Who was Tina Miller?

Mary Christina Kleindinst Miller was better known as Tina. She was an unassuming little lady who spent nearly half her life taking care of her only child, her daughter Glenna…a special child who couldn’t talk or walk and required constant care.

When Tina passed away her last request was that the money from her estate be used for the children of Willamina.  Her property at 411 “C” Street, the house and adjoining lot, was purchased by the City. The house became City Hall and the adjoining lot fulfilled her last wish. It became Tina Miller Memorial Park, a place set aside for the children of Willamina to play and enjoy their youth…a place made possible by a lady who thought the most important thing in life was family, and whose daughter was never able to play.
